CFIA/Allergy Alert: Undeclared Milk in Various Possmei Brand Tea Flavour Mix Powders
OTTAWA, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – Sept. 2, 2011) - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and Possmei Canada Inc. are warning people with allergies to milk not to consume the various Possmei brand tea flavour mix powder products described below. The affected products contain milk which is not declared on the label.
The affected products, product of Taiwan, are packaged in 1000g (35.27oz) packages. These packages include a non dairy creamer which contains the undeclared milk ingredient.

These products have been distributed in Ontario.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to milk.
The importer, Possmei Canada Inc., Markham, Ontario is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. The CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.
