SCOTT FOX RECIEVES THE QUEEN ELIZABETH II DIAMOND JUBILEE MEDAL
Toronto, ON – June 27, 2012 This morning on the Z103.5 Morning Show, Lisa Raitt, Federal Minister of Labour and Member of Parliament for Halton came to the Z103.5 studios and awarded Scott Fox the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal.
“On behalf of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, I am pleased to award you the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, created to mark her 60th anniversary. In granting you this honor, I thank you for your dedicated service to your peers, to your community, and to Canada. The contributions you have made to our nation are most commendable and deserve our praise and admiration,” says David Johnston, Governor General of Canada.
In presenting the award, Minister Raitt congratulated Fox’s many extensive contributions to different charities like The Grow Milton Hospital Project, The Canadian Cancer Society, The Sick Kids Hospital Foundation, Gravity Gives, Crime Stoppers, the Ronald McDonald House Foundation, Cops for Cancer and more.
Fox was humbled to receive the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and encouraged all listeners to help local charitable causes whenever possible.
The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal was created to mark the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada. It also honours Her Majesty for her services to Canada.
