Marchese and Chow throw a BBQ at Trinity-Bellwoods Park for the community
Today at Trinity-Bellwoods Park MPP Rosario Marchese and MP Olivia Chow hosted a Canada Day BBQ a day early for area residents.
The political duo threw a BBQ last year at the park and repeated it this year. Marchese and Chow were both on hand to talk with residents at the fun event at the park. With free hot dogs and drinks for everyone some of the newest citizens in Canada were able to hang out with their political allies in Parliament.
The BBQ included a doggy contest, a kid’s zone, live entertainment and a book swap.
Marchese said that the event is a great way to meet residents and talk about community issues. He and Chow work closely with their community to make sure that the residents issues are being addressed within the federal and provincial government.
