NBCUniversal Canada Key Sponsor of the Toronto Urban Film Festival (TUFF)
Toronto, ON [July 16, 2012] – Sharon Switzer, Director of Toronto Urban Film Festival, today announced NBCUniversal Canada as the Key Sponsor of TUFF acknowledging the generous contribution of one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies.

The one-minute, silent film festival, is the first and only festival of its kind in North America, and plays from September 7 – 17, 2012 on the network of Pattison Onestop digital platform screens at 10 minute intervals throughout the Toronto subway system and continuously at special “Film Zones” at key downtown stations, capturing the attention of more than one million daily commuters. Guest judge for the 6th annual Toronto Urban Film Festival is acclaimed documentary filmmaker Jennifer Baichwal (Payback, Manufactured Landscapes).
TUFF is also pleased to announce funding from the Ontario Arts Council for the 2012 festival.
