Toronto Police Services: On Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 9:40 p.m., police responded to a sound of gunshots call on Emmett Avenue.
Police arrived on scene and located a 42?year?old man in the parking lot with a gunshot injury. Officers performed CPR on the victim. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
The victim has been identified as Clayton Wright, 42, of Mississauga. A post? mortem examination is to be scheduled.
Police are receiving cooperation from members of the public who were on scene at the time of the shooting. It is believed that there were others who left the area prior to police arriving. Investigators are appealing to those people to come forward and contact police.
