‘W Is For Wapiti’ is a delightful start for the ABCs
This fall The Secret Mountain has a wonderful new children’s illustrated songbook out called W Is For Wapiti.
Each page of the songbook engages children while the musical CD gets the kids singing along while they learn the alphabet.
All of the songs were written by Christiane Duchesne, a Governor General award owner, and Juno Award winner Paul Kunigis. Sang by a child choir, Karen Young and Glen Bowser the words from the book come alive.
Early readers can easily enjoy the story and be challenged by some sophisticated word offerings.
W Is For Wapiti is geared for 3-7 year olds. The 50 page hardcover book is distributed by University of Toronto Press.
It will be available in September at thesecretmountain.com.
