EMS Day at the CNE

Kids and adults had a chance to learn about CPR and how to use defibrillators during the event just outside of the Food Building today at the CNE during EMS Day.

Toronto is one of the world leaders when it comes to Emergency Medical Services. Today at the CNE EMS crews from around the Greater Toronto Area came out to show off what they have to offer.

Adults were also able to learn about life saving measures with EMS from Toronto, Peel, Halton and Durham Region on hand to instruct.

Blood pressures were being checked by professionals while the kids enjoyed colouring and paper models of ambulances.

Throughout the CNE the EMS are on hand to make sure any medical emergencies are quickly taken care of. There are First Aid centres located at the Better Living Centre next to the Visitor Service Centre and at the EMS Station close to the Food Building. Toronto EMS are joined by First Responders from St. John Ambulance if visitors fall ill during the 18 day fair.
