Royale LePage opens downtown branch with a bang
KJ Mullins-Toronto: Royale LePage President and CEO Phil Soper and Broker of Record Gino Romanese joined Ahmed Helmi Thursday night at the opening of the Downtown Branch of Royale LePage.
Located at 154 Bathurst Street the new Royale LaPage office gives the staff plenty of cheerful space to find their clients find their perfect home. Helmi has been spending countless hours making sure that the office is the perfect fit for his staff. Since the relocation from their old King Street West office more walk in traffic has taken place.
The party continued inside the office with a flowing bar and appetizers. The staff was in a festive mood commenting about the new space being a better fit for their needs.
Beverley McAleese, the director of Nazareth House, enjoyed the new space. Royale LePage’s Shelter Foundation supports women’s shelters in Canada. Nazareth House is the local shelter for the downtown branch.
Leila Brewster spoke about the importance of the foundation and the good work Nazareth House does for local women who are facing issues with abuse, mental illness and addiction. Beverley said that one of their most costly expenses is food. She and Leila took time during the festivities to brain storm some ideas on how to cut costs while maintaining a high quality menu for the women.
Royale LePage’s Shelter Foundation is supported by the company and by some of the most caring realtors at Royale LePage. Realtors who take part in the program give back to their community with fundraisers and by direct donation from a portion of their commissions. It is a voluntary program that makes an impact. While there are several who do not participate in the program in Toronto those that do are very dedicated. Leila Brewster and Colby Bayne, who together have their own office with ties to the downtown office, are two of the nation’s top donors in the program.
