For the past six years the St Clair Gardens BIA has hosted a Corn Fest in the parkette benefiting a charity. This year proceeds from a silent auction went to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Chair Don Panos of Don’s Meat Shop said that today’s Fest was the largest one on record. He is proud of his very diverse neighbourhood saying that the very diverse area is up and coming.
Children enjoyed pumpkin art, free jump ropes from Home Depot and more. The crowds were entertained by local dancers and musicians.
