TORONTO, Sept. 19, 2012 /CNW/ – World Vision’s Talent Relations office is pleased to announce a multiple collaboration with four celebrity ambassadors: World Pop Illustrator & Artist Gary Taxali, Miss. World Canada Tara Teng, Teen-Pop sensation Tyler Medeiros & one of Canada’s most popular VJ’s Much Music’s Sarah Taylor. The foursome is embarking on an international journey to help launch the “#Say I Love You” Tour. A 10-day trip to highlight child well-being in two of the globe’s most impoverished regions, Sri Lanka and the Philippines. “I’m still young but through my music I want to educate my fans to care about all kids in the world,” says Medeiros.
“It is my hope that lives will change as a result of this trip – for us, our followers and most importantly – for the precious children who we are about to meet,” Teng adds.
Medeiros, along with Taxali, Teng and Taylor will be visiting projects later this month in Sri Lanka and the Philippines where World Vision has been working for decades in child sponsor projects.
“I have the opportunity to give back through my work, says Taxali. “Our celebrity ambassadors have a unique opportunity to experience our work and then share it with their audiences in so many creative ways through art, music, video and on stage,” says Talent Relations Manager for World Vision, Alicia Pereira.
